Solution 1: Check iCloud storage and clear iCloud data

When your iPhone prompts your iCloud storage don't have enough space, If your backup failed for iCloud storage, the first step is to check your iCloud storage status.

Go to iPhone Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage. You could see all the data having been saved to iCloud. Usually, photos, messages (there might be a lot of photos in iMessages), and old backups would take most of the space in iCloud. You could select the unwanted data to delete.

In Manage storage > Backups, you could see which devices have been backed up to iCloud. If you are sure they are no longer needed, delete them. If you want to check if there is still useful data, you could download iCloud backup to computer.

Once you enable iCloud backup, it will continually save your data to iCloud as you add data to your iPhone every day. Go to iPhone Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to solve the problem. Resetting network would erase the passcode of the connected Wi-Fi. You should make sure you still could connect to at least an available Wi-Fi.
