What is file level backup? When you perform a file level backup, it means you create backup for individual files such as documents, photos, music, video, etc. on the operating system. When you restore file level backups, you’ll get exactly the same version of the file you backed up. It is suitable for personal files backup instead of applications and operating systems.

For example, file level backup is a simpler and ideal option for personal users. The technology is also widely used by many third-party backup utilities.
