Sector by sector clone refers to clone all sectors even if the sector is blank or it’s a logically bad sector, so an exact copy of a source hard\partition you will get after cloning sector by sector. With the 100% identical copy of a disk, you can upgrade your original small hard drive to a brand new and large drive without installing the operating system and applications anymore. Disk clone only supports to clone 3 partition at most from GPT to MBR, so if the source disk contains over 3partitions, the remaining partition should use “Partition Clone”.
