Backup solution for a small business

Hey guys, so I work for a small business with about 10 users. We have a 2 Bay NAS setup with RAID1 which we use as a file share that everyone work from. We have another folder in that same NAS that backs up emails of the users (outlook .pst files). And basically we only one off-site backup of that NAS to an external device once a week. I was looking at Wasabi Cloud NAS to connect it with our on-premise NAS. So there will be a cloud backup as well. How reliable is this? I’m open for any suggestions that could improve overall backup of this company.

Easily Backup VM to the Cloud

Step 1. Launch AOMEI Cyber Backup, navigate to the Source Device to add a VMware ESXi or Hyper-V host.

Step 2. Go to Storage > Add Storage to choose Local Path or Network Path, and click OK to add storage as your backup destination.

Step 3. Navigate to Backup Task > Create New Task. And select the host you have added. Then set the Task Name, Device, Target, Archive, Schedule, and Cleanup according to your needs.

  • Device: Since multiple VMs on the host are covered in a single backup task, you need to select the VMs that need to be backed up.
  • Target: Choose the added cloud storage as the Target.
  • Archive: You can add an Amazon S3 storage and archive the VMware Backup version to this S3 storage.
  • Schedule: You can choose to perform full, differential, or incremental backups and have them automatically executed daily, weekly, or monthly basis at a frequency you specify.
  • Backup Cleanup: You can configure a retention policy to auto-delete backup files and save storage space.
