How do I backup my computer to Amazon Cloud Drive?
I’m trying to do something simple: I’d like to back up various folders from my PC to Amazon Cloud Drive, and anytime I add a folder or file on my PC, I want it automatically synced to Amazon.
Can you help me with this basic use case? I simply want to mirror what’s on my PC to Amazon, and I never want to put the local PC files at risk of being deleted. Thanks in advance.

Overview of Amazon Cloud Drive
As a secure cloud storage service for Amazon customers to back up their files, Amazon Drive allows users to save files, photos, videos, etc. online and access them from any device. It is available for Android, iOS, desktop PCs and Macs.
AWS backup pricing:
▾ For all Amazon users, there is a 5 GB free storage. After the free limit is reached, there are several plans available for users to upgrade.
▾ For Prime members, unlimited photo storage is free, and including video costs just $12 (up to 100GB).
▾ Non-Prime members are also reasonably priced (a 1TB plan costs $60 per year).
▴ The Amazon Drive is quite convenient for storing photos, but it lacks advanced options. For example, users can only create one custom folder through the PC client.
▴ The interface is not very user-friendly and the subscription price is at a high-level stage.
▴ You are not allowed to automate sync and backup files.
Bad news: On July 30, Amazon sent out notification emails to Amazon Drive users, announcing that the service will end on December 31, 2023, thus all files left in Amazon Drive will be deleted that time.
Photos and videos from Amazon Drive accounts will be automatically saved to Amazon Photos, but for “not photos or videos” files, users will need to download them locally before the service is shut down.
