AOMEI will retain users' data stored in AOMEI Cloud and its associated tasks. Only in the following situations, AOMEI will clear user's data stored in AOMEI Cloud and delete its associated tasks.
- After a trial period expires
- After a subscription expires
AOMEI Cloud assigns different grace periods to trial and subscription users. The grace period is intended as a way for you to upgrade trial or reactivate subscription without impacting your existing data. It is not a guarantee that your data will be retained.
Retention policy scope
The retention policy only covers data backed up to our secure online backup storage – AOMEI Cloud and its associated tasks. The data backed up to other destinations and its associated tasks created through AOMEI Backupper are not covered by this retention policy. AOMEI will retain them forever for you.
Retention policy schedule
Below are the grace periods for different users and the measures you can take to retain your data.
Status Grace Period Available Measures Your trial period expires 7 days after expiration Upgrade trial to full version before the grace period ends. Your subscription expires 90 days after expiration Reactivate your subscription before the grace period ends.
After the grace period ends, AOMEI will automatically delete the data stored in AOMEI Cloud and its associated tasks. The data deleted from AOMEI Cloud cannot be recovered.
To avoid data loss, please upgrade trial or reactivate your subscription before the grace period ends.
