The Scenario

"I made a system image of my computer installed Windows 8 before I had to send it in to get work done. Now that I got back, I am trying to restore the system image. I have tried to boot into the advanced startup options and restore it from there but it tells me that I need to boot from a Windows installation disk. When I try to boot from the disk I have it doesn't bring up the option to do so. Then I decided that I would just mount the hard drive images and just move the files over. When I try to mount it, it doesn't do anything. It doesn't give me an error or make a noise or anything. Then if I try to mount it again it says that it is already mounted. My questions is either how do I boot from the installation disk or how do I mount the drives. Thanks in advance!"
